One of Smart-Form's most important features is the ability to encrypt your form results during e-mail transmission.

Very few of our competitors offer this feature.

Why is that important?

The picture below shows a (greatly simplified) view of how Smart-Form works. You can see that your client completes your form using Smart-Forms' Secure SSL connection (supported by all popular browsers), but what about the e-mail that delivers your form results?

It goes over the internet just like everything else, so unless it is encrypted it can be viewed by prying eyes along the way!

Smart-Form expects that you will wish to protect your client's privacy by using the Smart-Form E-Mail encryption feature, particularly if you are accepting sensitive client information such as Credit Card or other identity-related numbers.

To have your Smart-Form e-mails encrypted you must do two things:

• create a Smart-Form encryption certificate
• associate the certificate with your form's recipients

Once that is done, your forms will be encrypted before being sent and others will not be able to read them, but you you can open them just as normal!

  Once you register with Smart-Form you can easily create your own Smart-Form Encryption certificate and use it to encrypt form-results being delivered to all, some or any of the form's recipients.
