| Many of our clients could easily host their own secure forms, but
choose not to because of Smart-Form's 'set-and-forget' built-in
features. Our
tried and true cross-browser client-side validation is one
such feature. We keep tabs on developments in the Browser Wars and
update our validation code accordingly, so that you don't have to.
Tired of quirky 'borrowed' validation scripts , Document Object
Models, and Browser differences galore? Instead let us provide you with
consistent, reliable form validation
including;
- Required Field
- E-Mail field
- Password Field with named confirmation field
- Minimum / Maximum Length
- Value Range
- Integer
- Date with selectable formats
- Regular Expressions provide powerful input validation for
nearly any type of input.
With Smart-Form, when validation for a field fails, the user sees
an error message that you have defined for that specific field, and
the cursor focus is returned to the field that is in error.
At the same time, your form's HELP focus is set to the error
field.
If the user already has the (dragable) Help window open, its
content switches to the error field's help text. If not and the user
clicks the "?" help icon (or presses F1 in Internet Explorer), the
help window opens to the help text you have defined for that
field.
Instead of a confused use who may abandon your
form, you have one who is impressed with the form's professionalism,
and you.
In the end, there is no real reason not to simply set it and
forget it, and let Smart-Form handle the rest! |
